League of Women Voters’ chapters across the state are talking about voting rights to help inform Michigan citizens of the current voting laws and how they could change.

The LWV Northern Lower Michigan presents an informational session on Michigan’s voting rights and voting security in light of a current ballot petition that would make voting harder for many Michigan citizens. This petition would also create laws that would limit Michigan's election clerks’ ability to do their jobs efficiently and certify votes in a timely manner.

Knowing our voting rights as they are now will help voters understand what will be lost under the proposed measures.
