Hosted by our Environment and Natural Resources Committee in conjunction with Groundwork and South of the Straits Sierra Club.

Participants can visit 6 Petoskey area sites where solar energy is being produced. Solar installations include:

• 2 homes

• 2 farms

• NCMC

• Petoskey City Hall

The tour will begin at Bear Creek Farm and end with a meeting at Coveyou Farm which will include:

• Information from a solar installer on financial incentives. 

• Details about a group solar buy being offered by Grow Solar Little Traverse.

• Solar and Green Energy options in our community.
