Public Foum: Book Banning, the First Amendment and Democracy

Val Meyerson - Director of the Petoskey District Library and Charles McCaffery - History and English Professor at North Central Community College will discuss book banning in history and the current, nationwide and local efforts to censor books.

An expert panel will provide a historical perspective and the link between book banning and democracy, books and the First Amendment, and local issues related to book censorship.
